Kickdom’s match system offers a flexible, dynamic experience that caters to both strategic managers and hands-on players. Our new system allows you to choose your level of control over matches, with options for both fully simulated games and direct, interactive play—while still benefiting from asset activations to boost your team’s performance.
Team Formation & Lineup: Set up your squad by choosing the best players, formation, and tactics based on your team’s stats and your preferred style.
Tactical Preparation: Decide on your overall strategy (defensive, balanced, attacking) and select specific assets (Boost Kits, Magic Powder, etc.) that you can activate either automatically or during play.
Asset Planning: Prepare which assets to deploy for pre-match boosts or during critical moments to gain a temporary edge.
Kickdom offers two primary match modes:
Auto-Play Option: Let the match simulate automatically, where the game engine calculates outcomes based on player stats, tactics, and in-match events.
On-Demand Asset Activation: You can choose to activate assets on players at any time during the match, enhancing performance or mitigating risks.
Training Matches: These are played against AI opponents. They provide a safe environment to experiment with strategies and asset activations without affecting your official rankings.
Real-Time Control: Engage directly in the match with a control system similar to arcade-style football games. Make on-the-fly tactical decisions and control key players during critical moments.
Dynamic Asset Activation: Even while actively playing, you can deploy assets in real time to boost your players’ performance—giving you both strategic depth and direct control.
PvP Competitive Matches: In addition to training matches against the AI, interactive play mode is available in real-time against other players, adding an extra level of competitive intensity.
Player Performance: Each player’s actions and performance are influenced by their individual stats, fitness, fatigue, and morale. Your pre-match tactics and in-match decisions directly affect these factors.
Random Events & Environmental Factors: The match engine simulates unpredictable events such as weather conditions, referee decisions, and momentum shifts to add realism and challenge.
Fatigue & Injuries: Over the course of the match, players may become fatigued or injured, impacting performance. Strategic asset activations can help counteract these effects.
Experience & Progression: Victories, draws, and losses all contribute to your team’s growth—players gain experience, improve stats, and their market value may change accordingly.
Resource Management: Match results determine the rewards you earn (in tokens and assets), which can then be reinvested into your club's infrastructure, player training, and further asset acquisitions.
